Duties & Responsibilities

Job Objectives:

• Provide exceptional customer service by proactively assisting customers with their health and supplement needs.
• Offer tailored advice on healthcare, nutrition, and supplement products to meet individual customer requirements.
• Drive sales targets by promoting a diverse range of brands through cross-selling and upselling strategies.
• Maintain stock availability in healthcare aisles and adhere to stock management principles to optimize sales.
• Ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards are upheld to enhance the shopping experience.
• Implement effective product merchandising according to guidelines.
• Adhere to store operating procedures and share product knowledge with relief staff for consistent service.

Knowledge:

• Desirable: Basic health, fitness, and supplement product knowledge.
• Essential: Understanding of retail store operations principles including stock management and merchandising.

Skills:

• Essential: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service and sales orientation.
• Proficiency in merchandising.
• Desirable: Basic computer literacy.

Competencies:

• Essential: Relating and Networking, Persuading and Influencing, Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Experience:

• Essential: Minimum 1 year related experience with customer-related training.
• Desirable: Experience in sports nutrition and vitamin-related products.

Education:

• Essential: Matric with 50% English, 50% Maths / 60% Maths Lit, and a pass in Physical Science or Life Science.
• Desirable: Qualification in sports/fitness/nutrition.
