Duties & Responsibilities

Job Objectives:

• Execute all operational activities at the point of sale promptly and accurately.
• Maintain accuracy when scanning merchandise and handling payments, including clubcard rewards.
• Safely handle cash transactions at all times.
• Promote Clicks’ clubcard and enroll new members to achieve participation targets.
• Inform customers of promotions to enhance sales and ensure value for money.
• Provide superior customer service, acting as a brand ambassador with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Execute merchandising and housekeeping duties according to store standards.
• Stay updated on products, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers.

Knowledge:

• Basic maths calculations.
• Retail/FMCG background with an understanding of merchandising and promotions principles.
• Knowledge of stock management procedures.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Experience:

• Desirable: Experience in a customer-facing role within a retail/FMCG environment.

Education:

• Essential: Grade 12.
• Desirable: Minimum 50% in Maths and English at Grade 12 level.
