This initiative aims to equip participants with the skills needed to excel in the mobile device repair industry. Applications are now open and will close on July 8, 2024.

Programme Details
SAMDDRA: Cellphone Repair Training Programme 2024
Eligibility:
- South African citizens
- Preferably less than 40 years old
- Proof of residence in the designated area (local police, councilor, or valid statements)
- Unemployed and available for the duration of the training
- NQ4 Level qualification (Matric or equivalent) with English, Maths or Maths Literacy, or Commercial subjects
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) in cellphone repairs will be exceptionally considered
- Priority will be given to youth, women, and people with disabilities
Training Locations:
Participants residing near the following TVET colleges are invited to apply:
- KwaZulu Natal: Majuba in Newcastle, Tekwini in Durban
- Limpopo: Capricorn TVET College in Polokwane
- Western Cape: West Coast in Malmesbury and Atlantis, Boland in Stellenbosch and Worcester, South Cape in George
- Free State: Motheo in Bloemfontein
- Gauteng: Westcol in Mogale City
- Eastern Cape: Buffalo City in Buffalo City, Port Elizabeth in Gqeberha
- Northern Cape: Northern Cape Urban in Kimberly, Northern Cape Rural in Upington, Kathu, and Kuruman
- North West: Taletso in Mahikeng
