Your Responsibilities:
As a successful applicant, you’ll have the privilege of being contracted by both Novus Print and the FP&M SETA for the duration of your training. Here’s a breakdown of what to expect:
- Phase 1: Begin with approximately 4-5 months of thorough theoretical training at our academy.
- Phase 2-4: Dive into 26-30 months of immersive experiential training right here at Novus Print, where you’ll hone your core skills in the chosen trade.
- Academy Collaboration: Your three-year apprenticeship journey will be enriched by core theoretical training in collaboration with the academy and Printing SA.
- Job Placement: Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, there is no binding commitment to permanent placement in the trade, giving you the freedom to explore various career paths.
Your Qualifications: To be eligible for this exciting opportunity, you’ll need the following:
- A Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
- Mathematical Literacy pass rate of 50% or above (please provide your matric certificate or latest results).
- Completion of technical test batteries with the required outcome scores, a vital step towards acceptance into the apprentice program.
