Shortlisted candidates will undergo a telephonic interview. Those still under consideration will then participate in a face-to-face interview before the final bursary recipients for the academic year are selected.

Successful applicants will be notified in January, just in time for the start of their study journey.

Mulilo Bursary Application Criteria: To be eligible for consideration, you must:

  • Hold South African citizenship
  • Reside in the Northern Cape
  • Be aged 35 or younger
  • Have applied to a South African tertiary institution

Ensure that you provide all requested documents with your application. Don’t forget to include:

  • Copy of your ID
  • Latest school report or matriculation certificate
  • Proof of application to a university, Technicon, or TVET College
  • Motivation essay (minimum one page)
