Changes take effect on 1 April, 2024.
Here are the new amounts for every social grant.
SASSA Older Persons Grant
The SASSA Older Persons Grant is also called the Pensioners Grant. It provides retirement age South Africans with support.

SASSA War Veterans Grant
The War Veterans Grant is for South Africans who served in armed forces. It’s one of the lesser common South African social grants.
