Job Description : 2024 SAICA Trainee Program at VKB Internal Audit

The 2024 SAICA Trainee Program at VKB Internal Audit is designed to provide candidates with a well-rounded experience within the Internal Audit department. You will have the chance to gain exposure to various subsidiaries of the VKB Group in the Free State. The trainee’s responsibilities will include conducting ad-hoc and routine audits, process documentation, control identification, business analysis, system analysis, and making recommendations for improving controls. The program also involves accounting and cost accounting functions, data analytics auditing, and rotation through different VKB departments to acquire the necessary competencies for the SAICA qualification.

Requirements

To qualify for this program, candidates should meet the following requirements:

1. Completed B.Com Degree or currently in the process of completing a relevant B.Com Degree.
2. Completed or in the process of completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting (CTA) is advantageous.
3. Working towards becoming a qualified CA(SA).
4. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
5. A valid driver’s license.

Duties and Responsibilities
