Successful Applicants will be required to sign a 2 (Two) year learning programme contract and will be paid a stipend according to Company Policies and Procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- N6 Mechanical Engineering
- Trade Test Fitter and Turner
- 1-year mechanical experience in rotating and stationary turbine components maintenance.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Proficient Machining Skills
- Good Communication Skills
- Good Interpersonal Skills
- Proficient in the use of Basic Hand Tools Basic Planning Skills
- Computer Literacy
Knowledge:
- Ability to use Mechanical Measuring Equipment
- Ability to read and interpret Component Drawings and Tolerances
- Ability to maintain a high-Quality Standard of Work
- Familiar with the OSHAct 85 of 1993
- Basic knowledge of Quality Systems
- Ability to read, understand and independently work to technical drawings, specifications, and unit conversions in accordance with international codes and standards.
