About the Cleaner Position
As a Cleaner at Tsebo, your main role will be to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in designated areas, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all. This includes cleaning restrooms, offices, equipment, and maintaining the general appearance of the facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean restrooms, offices, and public areas thoroughly
- Use cleaning tools and chemicals correctly and safely
- Maintain cleanliness of reception areas and daily office areas
- Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste disposal
- Sort recyclable paper into designated bins for collection
- Inspect and clean restrooms at least twice a day
- Dust office furniture and vacuum carpets regularly (at least twice weekly)
- Clean internal windows on a rotational schedule (every three months)
- Store cleaning supplies neatly in assigned storage closets
- Assist in setting up meeting rooms when required
- Follow all occupational health and safety guidelines
- Cooperate with team members and supervisors
- Perform additional duties as needed, outside of regular cleaning tasks

Required Skills and Attributes
- Good verbal communication and listening skills
- Basic understanding of health and hygiene standards
- Familiarity with building layouts and facilities
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and materials
- Ability to use various cleaning tools effectively
- Basic reading and writing abilities
- Willingness to follow department protocols and safety rules
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays if needed
- Preference will be given to candidates residing near the job location

Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 11 with proven experience
- Grade 12 certificate is an advantage
