The incumbent in this role is responsible for ensuring safe and correct issuing, receiving, material handling, storage and binning of rotable inventory items.

Key Responsibilities :GLENCORE
- Ensuring accurate, complete and validity of all goods and materials received.
- Ensuring that goods and materials conform to the specifications of orders and are of an acceptable quality.
- Ensuring the accurate binning of stock items.
- Conducting the physical monthly stock count.
- Driving a forklift and operating an overhead crane where applicable.
- Expediting availability on outstanding spares.
- Ensuring deliveries of spares on time.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Grade 12.
- N3 qualification.
- Valid Trade Test Certificate.
- Forklift License, Overhead Crane License and Basic Rigging will be advantageous.
- Driver’s license Code EB (08)
Minimum Experience:
- 2 Years’ experience an Artisan.
- SAP experience (PM module) and vendor management experience will be advantageous.
Behavioural Competencies:
- Ability to apply practical skills and common sense to solve problems and deliver accountabilities.
- Ability to drill into the detail of issues to determine root cause while considering urgency, importance, risk and reward factors.
- Ability to be target focused and meets deadlines, is punctual and keeps to schedule, and is reliable in finishing tasks.
- Ability to adhere to rules and regulations, follow instructions and limit risk of non-compliance o the business.
