Job Description:
As a Section Head, you will be responsible for overseeing technical support and workshop services aimed at identifying and preventing crime.
Your duties will include managing electronic workshop services, radio communication systems, and mechanical workshop services within Crime Intelligence.
Additionally, you will be tasked with managing human, financial, physical, and information resources in alignment with SAPS strategies and priorities.Qualifications and Experience: To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a three (3) year Degree or Diploma accredited by SAQA on NQF level 6 or higher in Policing, Public Administration/Management, Law, Criminology, Forensic Investigation, Intelligence, N/T-stream, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Possess a minimum of three years’ managerial experience in a relevant field.
- Fluency in at least two official languages, with English being mandatory.
- Possess a valid motor vehicle driver’s license.
- Undergo a security vetting process to the level of Top Secret and obtain a security clearance of Top Secret within six months after appointment.
