South African Music Performance Rights Association (SAMPA) invites unemployed graduates to apply for Internship Programme 2023 / 2024

The South African Music Performance Rights Association (SAMPRA) is offering internship opportunities through the SAMPRA Development Fund for 2024.
Internship Duration: 12 months
Fields of Study: Public Relations, Marketing, Music, or related fields
About SAMPRA: SAMPRA is a Collective Management Organisation (CMO) and a Non-Profit Organisation responsible for administering Neighbouring Rights (Needletime Rights) royalties on behalf of recording artists and record companies in South Africa. They represent a significant number of recording artists and record companies in the country.
Internship Requirements: Successful candidates will gain exposure to various aspects of running a record company, including Publishing, Public Relations, Production, and Artists & Repertoire. Here are the key requirements for prospective interns:
- A completed qualification in the field of study mentioned above.
- No prior work experience is required.
- Proof of qualification (certified copy of transcript and/or qualification).
- Must be located within driving distance of Amanzimtoti in the KZN province.
- Access to a Wi-Fi network at home, as remote work may be allowed.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- A passion for music and a positive attitude.
