Responsibilities: Security Guard

1. Security Operations Management:

• Oversee security and loss prevention operations daily.
• Ensure protection of property assets, employees, guests, and property.
• Implement accident and fire prevention and response protocols.

2. Safety and Security:

• Maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the property.
• Conduct regular searches of employees and perform random breath analyzing.
• Handle security dogs effectively.

3. Documentation and Compliance:

• Maintain logs, certifications, and required documents as per legal and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Strive to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction.

4. Assistance with Data Destruction:

• Assist drivers to and from clients for secure data destruction purposes.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• E, D, C & B certification.
• Firearm competency and licensed to carry a firearm.
• Police clearance certificate.
• All relevant certificates.
• Must be PSIRA registered.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From R6,500.00 per month

Ability to Commute/Relocate:

• Reliably commute or plan to relocate to Kempton Park, Gauteng before starting work (preferred).

Education:

• High School (matric) preferred.

Experience:

• PSIRA: 4 years preferred.

Language:

• English preferred.

License/Certification:

• PSIRA Certificate preferred.

Shift Availability:

• Day Shift preferred.
• Night Shift preferred.
