Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Shop Assistant. The ideal candidate will assist customers in finding products, operating the cash register, restocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The Shop Assistant will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operations of the store.

Key Responsibilities:
– Greet customers and assist them in finding products
– Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
– Stock and organize shelves with merchandise
– Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the store
– Assist with inventory management and restocking
– Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
– Follow store policies and procedures at all times
– Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store goals

Qualifications:
– Grade 12
– Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Basic math skills and comfortable handling cash transactions
– Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise
– Knowledge of products and services offered in the store
– Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings and weekends
