The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) recently shared important information about the R350 grant payment date schedule for July 2023. The main aim of this announcement was to ensure that beneficiaries receive their allocated funds as soon as possible.
In the past, SASSA grant payments were typically made towards the end of each month. However, in response to feedback from recipients, the organization has decided to start making payments on the second day of each month or on the next working day, whichever comes first.
The pension grant, which is provided to older individuals, is given out first. This is followed by grants for disabled individuals and children. After that, all other grants, including the R350 SRD grant (which no longer has a specific payment date), will be disbursed.
For people of retirement age, payments will be made on Monday, July 3. Disability grants will be paid on Tuesday, July 4. Wednesday, July 5 has been designated as the sassa r350 grant payment date for children’s grants. All other SASSA grants will also commence on Wednesday, July 5. Please note that there won’t be a fixed date for the special COVID-19 SRD payment. It will be available for collection after it becomes accessible.
