Core Requirements
To be eligible for the Sasol Learnership Programme, candidates must actively participate in the programme and successfully complete the assessment process. Applicants must have completed a National Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification with passes in the following subjects:
- Technical Mathematics/Mathematics SG/HG
- English/Business English SG/HG

About Sasol Learnerships
Sasol learnerships are structured learning programmes that combine on-the-job training with institutional learning. This dual approach ensures that learners receive comprehensive education and practical experience in their chosen fields. The learnerships are available in the following areas:
- Chemical Plant Operations (Process/Production): Learn the intricacies of operating and maintaining chemical plants.
- Instrumentation and Control: Gain expertise in managing and maintaining control systems and instrumentation.
- Electrical Operations: Develop skills in electrical installation, maintenance, and safety.
- Fitting: Learn to install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment.
- Turning: Acquire skills in machining operations, including turning, milling, and drilling.
- Boilermaking: Gain expertise in fabricating and repairing boilers and other pressure vessels.
- Welding: Learn various welding techniques and their applications.
- Rigging: Develop skills in moving heavy equipment and materials using cranes, hoists, and other lifting devices.
