About the NYDA Apprenticeship 2024
NYDA is on the search for interested applicants who would like to sign up for their 36-month apprenticeship programme focusing on Bricklaying and Plumbing. The NYDA Apprenticeship has teamed up with the Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA) to create valuable opportunities for unemployed youth in the Northern Cape. This collaborative apprenticeship program is designed to address the critical shortage of skilled professionals in the construction industry. By providing targeted training and hands-on experience, the program aims to equip participants with essential skills that will contribute to the growth and sustainability of the sector.
The initiative focuses on developing the capacity of the construction field, ensuring it can thrive economically and compete on a global scale. Through this partnership, the apprenticeship program not only offers career-building opportunities for young people but also strengthens the construction industry’s workforce. By nurturing talent and addressing skill gaps, the program plays a crucial role in advancing both individual careers and the broader economic landscape.
The selected applicant of the NYDA Apprenticeship will be entitled to a stipend of R3 000/month.
