What the Role Entails :Learner Profiler Assistant Opportunity
As a Learner Profiler Assistant, you’ll play a critical role in supporting students’ educational journeys. You’ll utilize the online Learner Profiler system to assess and evaluate students’ academic progress. Your duties will include:
- Evaluating Students: Using the Learner Profiler system to assess students’ knowledge and identify areas for improvement.
- Bridging Knowledge Gaps: Assisting students in understanding complex subjects and helping them overcome learning obstacles.
- Communicating Results: Clearly outlining assessment results to parents and teachers, ensuring they understand the students’ academic standing and potential areas of focus.
What You Need to Succeed
To thrive in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- South African National: You must be a South African citizen participating in the YES programme for the first time.
- Unemployed: This opportunity is exclusively for those who are not currently employed.
- Educational Background: A completed Grade 12 certificate is essential. Additionally, a Diploma or Degree in Education (Foundation Phase) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) is required.
- Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build strong working relationships with both educators and students is crucial.
- Empathy and Positivity: A caring attitude and a positive approach are necessary to support students effectively.
