Requirements
- ABET level 4 or NQF level 1 to 3 with no experience.
- Understanding of a Laundry setup.
- Possess good communication skills.
- Ability to work shifts, especially night shifts.
- Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Physically fit to handle the demands of the position.
Duties
As a Laundry Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Rendering laundry services.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
- Collecting and delivering linen to various units.
- Operating various laundry machines.
- Inspecting, mending, and marking laundry items.
- Reporting any machine defects to the supervisor.
- Monitoring equipment temperature and maintenance.
