Key Responsibilities and Performance Areas

• Complete assigned worksheets and follow checklists diligently.
• Install bins and benches within JCPZ parks.
• Undertake repairs on palisade and colonial fencing, including welding and fencing.
• Address damage to walls and paving, ensuring timely repairs.
• Manufacture concrete manhole covers as required.
• Maintain a clean work area according to specifications.
• Relay messages between operations and assess the condition of work.
• Ensure compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the personal development plan.
• Utilize specified tools and equipment effectively.

Johannesburg Parks :Minimum Job Requirements

• Grade 10 qualification.
• 1–2 years of experience in the artisan field.
• Proficiency in English.

• Familiarity with JCPZ business operations, policies, and procedures.
• Proficiency in a second language, preferably Vernacular.
