Job Responsibilities

The selected General Worker will work under the supervision of the Technical Officer and will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Performing civil building maintenance according to established procedures.
  • Investigating and resolving technical problems.
  • Managing general administration tasks such as timesheets, logbooks, and reports.
  • Operating and maintaining water purification plants.
  • Assisting with campground management and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Conducting vehicle and workplace inspections to ensure safety standards.


To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Possession of a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
  • Valid code 8 driver’s license.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing demanding tasks.
  • Clean criminal record (SAPS verification will be conducted).
  • General knowledge of geysers, tiling, painting, air conditioning, and refrigeration.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as required.
