Key Performance Output

The successful candidate reporting to the Supervisor Building and Facilities Maintenance will be responsible for:

• Participating in root cause analysis.
• Completing defined audit, monitoring processes, and adherence to standards.
• Executing safe planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
• Assisting with infrastructure maintenance and routine inspections as and when required.
• Adhering to relevant statutory/ legislative regulations, SOP’ s operational standards, policies, and practices.
• Consulting and giving support in commissioning and testing of assets.
• Providing insight into studies on upgrades/ replacements of assets.
• Identifying and reporting possible efficiency enhancements and initiatives to ensure resource savings.
• Engaging with relevant stakeholders on report findings.
• Liaising and engaging with internal stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient operations.
• Providing inputs into maintenance plaining, scheduling, and execution of the assets.
• Providing inputs into all relevant reports.

Technical Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required: 

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) is essential.
• Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
