Mafube Local Municipality invites suitably qualified applicant to apply for their Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) Vacancies (X90 Posts). The closing date for applications is the 25th October 2023

Mafube Local Municipality has been funded by Department of Publics Works to implement the Expanded Public Works Programe (EPWP) within four towns of the Municipality. We are looking for applicants from the disadvantaged background to fill these vacant positions for duration of the project.

PUBLIC WORKS PROGRAMME :POST: EPWP PARTICIPANTS X 90 (TWEELING X10, CORNELIA X10, FRANKFORT X 50 & VILLIERS X 20)

• Stipend: R120 per day
• Duration: 05 Months
• Post Ref: 01/2023

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Computer literacy, able to read & write, ability to work with people, 1 year experience in any work related to plumbing, building, welding, brick laying, electrician, waste collection, grass cutting, maintenance of parks & open areas, maintenance of storm water drainage system.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Data capturing, filling, waste Collection, waste transportation & disposal, grass cutting, participate in all waste activities, maintenance of parks & open areas, maintenance of storm water drains, plumbing, building, bricklaying, welding, electrician and any other duties to be assigned by the superior officials.
