Internship Opportunities at the City of Johannesburg (CoJ) – Group Information Communication Technology & Information Management
Overview:
The City of Johannesburg has Internship opportunities available in the Group Information Communication Technology & Information Management department. The internship duration will not exceed 18 months.
Remuneration:
- Qualification Completed (Min. 360 credits): R9,531.54 per month (Basic salary, no benefits)
- Enrolled as a Student: R3,500.00 per month (Basic salary, no benefits)
Job Purpose:
- Assist the ICT department in coordinating and consolidating information while providing administrative support.
- Work within multidisciplinary teams, including senior management and service providers.
- Prepare necessary documentation and agendas for meetings and possess a general knowledge of the IT environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Respond to user requests for services and troubleshoot problems
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 at NQF level 4 plus Degree/Diploma in Information Technology registered at NQF 6 with at least 360 credits OR studying towards an IT qualification with an enrollment letter at the current tertiary institution.
