Eligibility Criteria
Candidates wishing to apply for the Anglo American Mining Cadet Program must first meet specific eligibility criteria. - Complete your Grade 12 education with credits in Mathematics, Physical Science, and English (Mathematics Literacy is not accepted)
- Secure a minimum pass mark of 40% or above
- Show evidence of good medical health
- Be willing to work on surface-level operations
- Be prepared to work in a dusty opencast environment
- Follow the work schedule, which may include shift work
- Provide proof of South African citizenship
- Successfully complete the required psychometric assessment
- Pass the K53 Simulator Assessment
- Demonstrate strong skills in written and spoken English
- Having a South African Driver’s license is a plus.
