Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in the Afrimat Learnerships must fulfill an eligibility criteria before proceeding with their applications. The Afrimat Learnerships Eligibility Criteria are as follows:
- Obtain a Grade 12 qualification
- Acquire a minimum of an
- Relevant N2 (Auto Electrician and Boilermaker)
- N3 Boilermaking certificate (Boilermaker Learner)
- Must come from:
- The Northern Cape (Auto Electrician and Boilermaker)
- The Midvaal Municipality (Boilermaker Learner)
- Provide proof of residence
- Submit a certified copy of your ID
- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Be honest and reliable
- Adapt to change
- Possess the ability to work under pressure.
Important note: Candidates are required to demonstrate that they meet both the Mine Health and Safety Act’s and the company’s own medical fitness standards in order to be considered.

- X1 Boilermaker Learner – Closing Date: 06 September 2024
Candidates will need to send in the following documents:
- Your most updated Curriculum VItae
- A certified copy of your Identity Document
- Your most recent qualifications
- A certified legitimate proof of residence.
Alternatively, you can send your email application using your handphone, since it is much more practical than applying via computer. If you are using an OS Android handphone, you can use your Gmail app to send the emails and any CVs/files that needs to be attached.
The members of the selection committee, including yourself, will look over the information that you provide and make their decision based on what they find. As a consequence of this, you need to check the information twice to make sure that it does not contain any false details.
