Job Vacancy: Administration Clerk 2024

We are searching for a qualified Administration Clerk to support our daily administrative operations. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and smooth functioning of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in administrative tasks, preferably within an agricultural setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data entry and maintenance of filing systems
  • Handling correspondence and providing general administrative support
  • Responding to client inquiries with professionalism
  • Scheduling appointments and meetings
  • Preparing reports and managing office supplies

Additional Duties:

  • Verifying incoming stock against delivery notes
  • Filing delivery notes and supporting occasional receiving tasks
  • Managing various claims, including warranties and damaged stock
  • Producing reports on claims and stock levels
  • Assisting with quarterly stock-taking and related reporting
  • Ensuring accurate recording of stock count sheets
  • Maintaining regular communication with suppliers

General Administrative Duties:

  • Accurate data entry into systems or databases
  • Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail
  • Scheduling and coordinating appointments and events
  • Providing administrative support to management and staff
  • Monitoring office supplies and placing orders as needed
  • Preparing reports and documents
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

Eligibility Criteria

  • Grade 12 qualification
  • At least 1 year of administration experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office
