South African Mint Experiential Learnership
South African Mint is accepting applications for the Analytical Chemistry Experiential Learnership programme.
The programme has developed many qualified employees with exceptional skills for the various stages of coin making, many of whom started their careers at the South African Mint.
Purpose: To provide experiential learning opportunity for students that has completed all S4 modules and in need of experiential training to graduate for their National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry.
Qualifications
All S4 modules completed (NDip: Analytical Chemistry or related fields)
Key Responsibilities
- Process monitoring and data collection
- Perform Daily 5s inspections in all lab areas
- Assist with laboratory projects that are more focused on process optimization and assist with problem solving
- Carry out the lab tests independently and quality assurance
- Execute or support continuous improvement projects where necessary
- Assist with the daily duties of the laboratory Department
- Support the establishment and adherence to material usage requirements
- Apply technical knowledge to support continuous improvement initiatives
