Kia is offering candidates the opportunity to participate in a Level 1 apprenticeship programme that allows you to receive qualified practical work experience. Your responsibilities in the Kia Apprenticeship entail providing technical and diagnostic services with the utmost precision and efficiency. This involves carrying out tasks in accordance with predefined work objectives and adhering to agreed-upon standard operating procedures to ensure the timely and accurate completion of assignments. Your role is pivotal in upholding the high standards expected within the program, and your ability to execute tasks diligently and in line with established procedures will be a key factor in your success.
Additionally, your responsibilities also include the following:
- Recognize and implement established solutions to operational challenges and elevate unresolved matters when necessary.
- Achieve the performance targets agreed upon, following established procedures and adhering to service level agreements.
- Document transactional activities, ensuring the provision of timely information for informed decision-making within the scope of responsibility.
- Carry out tasks in accordance with governance and compliance protocols.
- Perform work tasks with efficiency and effectiveness, with the aim of preventing financial losses.
- Fulfill work responsibilities satisfactorily to meet the expectations of both internal and external customers.
- Participate in training initiatives aimed at enhancing work quality and improving personal skills.
- Offer support to an assigned technician for the purpose of learning and skill development.
- Undergo training and developmental activities as outlined in the logbook and the planned training program.

Eligibility Criteria

The Kia Apprenticeship Eligibility Criteria are as follows:
- Ensure you possess a National Senior Certificate with pure Maths and Physical Science.
- Acquire Higher Certificates and/or Advanced National (Vocational) Certificates at NQF Level 04.
- Secure at least one year of experience in a related work environment.
- Obtain a valid South African driver’s license.
