Temperatures Expected in Gauteng : According to the latest weather forecast by the South African Weather Service (SAWS), Gauteng province is set to experience clear conditions with cool to warm temperatures on Wednesday, October 18.

In Pretoria, the administrative capital of Gauteng located at 25°44′46″S 28°11′17″E, residents can look forward to a warm and sunny day. The city, known as the “Jacaranda City” due to its abundance of jacaranda trees, will enjoy clear skies and pleasant temperatures throughout the day.

Meanwhile, in Johannesburg, the largest city in Gauteng situated at 26°12′16″S 28°2′44″E, residents can also expect clear conditions and comfortable temperatures. Johannesburg is renowned for being home to South Africa’s three biggest soccer teams, Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, and Mamelodi Sundowns, and boasts impressive sporting venues such as Ellis Park, the Wanderers, and Loftus Versfeld.

Gauteng, often referred to as the “place of gold” in Sotho-Tswana languages, is a vibrant province with a population of approximately 16 million people as per the most recent census in 2020.
